Bishan Guracha Subcity is located at a distance of 270kms from Finfinne in southern direction along the highway running from Finfinne to Hawassa, the capital city of SNNPR. It is bordered in the south by Lake Habas which is found between Hawassa city and Bishan Guracha Subcity under Shashemene City of Oromia region.
